The Story of Shauna’s Corner

I began using a basic microphone and the family computer at my Mum’s house. The first audio project I created was The Avant-Garde Podcast. It later became The Quirky Kid Podcast. Both shows had three followers (and I loved each one dearly).

Before I left home, I purchased a laptop that was not compatible with my microphone. Later on, I purchased a sound card and cables and then…COVID lockdown. I made voice notes on my phone and spend several months brainstorming in isolation.

I purchased a microphone in June 2023 and recorded the first episode of Shauna’s Corner on my 21st birthday (the 17th of June). It was uploaded to Spotify the day after, on the 18th of June 2023.

The first episode of season 2 was uploaded on the 21st of October 2023.
